Just because a discussion formed doesn't mean your post shouldn't be considered spam. If a mod came across your post before anybody replied to it, there's nothing to encourage people to discuss it. You didn't pose a question to the forum, or post your stance on a controversial, but allowed by forum rules, subject. What's the difference between your original post and the scenario you provided? You used proper sentence structure and grammar. Is that really what defines content on this forum?
