Ps3 Vs. Xbox 360
Now id imagine you would say oh ya of course id choose an xbox because halo is mainly xbox. But really think about it. All wireless(Xbox 360) or Living organisms(PS3)?

1) It's not actually a biological cell. [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cell_chip]Cell Processor[/url]. 2) We don't know enough about what the PS3 will have. All we know is it's going to use a cell chip; that's about it.

I also think the opposite of what's happened now is going to happen (at the moment, the PS2 has a larger fanbase because it's been out longer, but Xbox is a better console (in terms of specs, etc)).

[/quote] The problem that the PS3 will run into is cost; will the new cell processor cost so much that it will have to sacrifice other things like the GPU? A fast processor means very little if the rest of the system lags behind. However, if they manage to balance it well then the new Xbox will turn into the PS2 of last round; though by a lesser margin since the PS3 will probably be released only six months after the 360. Xbox may also win on terms of software. The pulling of Square Enix's Final Fantasy dude was a huge win.

Have any of you seen pictures for Condemned? It's only on Xbox 360 so far, (they haven't announced it for any other consoles) and it looks amazing. Since it is the only thing I have seen for any future console, right now I say Xbox 360.

Facts! The PS3 has more processing power becuase of it's cell processors system. The Xbox 360 has better Video Quality becuae of it's EDRAM technology The Xbox 360 has twice the RAM (512mb as opposed to 256mb on the ps3) The PS3 has twice the amount of USB 2.0 ports.... the purpose is because the controllers will use these USB ports unless you buy Bluetooth controllers. The Xbox 360 & PS3 will both stand vertically and horizontally The Xbox 360 comes with default wireless controllers The PS3 is much larger than the Xbox 360 Both systems will have 100% HD compatible games

I have to go with Xbox 360. I am not buyest in any way right now. nor was i with the last console wars. I try to empty my mind of any previous things that have happened with any of the companies. Then i look at the facts. So far Xbox 360 looks better, specs are pretty much better, games are WAY better, and the support it has is so much better than the PS3 or the revolution (nintendos new one). I have to go with Xbox 360. But i will be able to make a more educated decision once the specs and more games come out. I really like my method of buying the best system. It hasnt let me donw yet. And it probably will not ever. BTW once I pick a console out of the wars i will then promote that specific item. not that entire linup of items and the company. so i support the Xbox but not necesarily the 360. You know what I mean?

I'll get both - but I think Sony might have hit a home run this time. I hope MS has got some REALLY good games up their sleeve. Killzone 2 looks incredible.

Xbox 360 will have Morrowind, too. I'm not big into the game but I know a lot of people are. Random thought: Bungie should release their next game (or Halo 3) the same day PS3 comes out. Oh, the chaos that will be had. [Edited on 5/17/2005]

Yeah, I think they'll both be sweet, and I'll prob wait til' Halo 3 to get the new box, but one thing left out from that gamespot comparison is that XBOX 360 is going to be backwards compatible with the original XBOX. From what i have seen so far is not good for microsoft PS3 is looking stronger and has the upper hand on the 360 I pray that microsoft has more to show then what they have (games) but not to panic i think the 360 will be the better system when it is all said and done............i hope.
