As for those who are reading this thread and going "wtf?" We had an insident w/ a rather questionable clan a few days ago. Hopefully, it can be resolved both in a mature fassion aswell as outside this thread (sorry for the irradic subject matter). Anyhow, if anyone is still interested in joining the Athenian Guard, feel free to visit our web page via the below link. icedrgn, ur last [i]several[/i] "posts" have been about the flaming that happened awhile ago. now you say you want to help us. ok yeah you can help us. i dont mean to be hostle, but the only help we need is for you and your cohorts to leave, that is unless you are considering joining us. this is a forum for ppl w/ questions and those interested in joining. so far i have seen a lack of both from your end. so given that, please stop posting in our thread. leave the forum for what its supposed to be: discussion.

Yes we did flame you IN OUR OWN GOD DAMN THREAD you came in there saying that we had all of our history wrong which we dont. You were only thinking about the second pelo-blam!-ian war. I eventually have to shut the thread down because you couldnt take a hint. Now you are still coming in our threads and posting just because your clan sucks. You even had to change your name because lol SS is the -blam!- secret police. We arent going to listen to you because you are our enemy so leave if you post again I will shut this thread down and contact the moderators. SO leave. Save your attacks for the battle field.

What is up with you all and this war if anything i want to be allies with you like i am with the DR! You know what... I did not want this war... In the beginning all we tried to do was help and then the AG started flaming us and said there is gunna be a war between us... This is what i say " THERE IS NO -blam!- WAR BETWEEN US EVEN IF THEY WANT IT! We just tried to help and then they flamed us so i came in and told them to get their history facts together and that they should grow up and stop flaming us!" We don't even have an enemy except fro them they said that they were enemies with us because the DR are our enemies which isnt even true! they are our new allies damn it

lmao. Anyone who wants to join, but is unsure because of the job positions available, remember: The key to a good offense is a good defense (that could also just be the lacrosse player in me). Gunners are also invaluable. Whats the point of a warthog if all you can do is drive people around and have them get blown to hell if theres no one covering them. Lastly, Pilots are a precious commodity. Remember, the Rangers and all spec. ops. cant do anything with out air support ;) [Edited on 6/29/2004 5:24:18 AM]

We are getting close to 40 members and now im going to have to have to say that we are only excepting members now that want the jobs of: Gunner Pilot Defender You may choose one of the other jobs ie (assaulter, sniper, etc) but you must be friends of a member of the clan already. We may open up the other jobs again to the public but for the sake of team balance those have been closed off for now.

Sorry about Jnices comment I will deal with him. Also we need a date for our battle on xbox live. However you need to take into account that many of my clan members as well as I will not play on xbox live until we finish the story first, to prevent idiots from ruining the story. I think a date a week after the release would be okay.

For anyone who is still wondering exactly how we are organized, its simple: theres this guy and i call him the founder (aka fencer505). he started our clan, and thats it. he strarted it and moderates the group. from there we just have fun. basicly you can pick a job which youwould like: assult, pilot, sniper, defender(for ctf), or gunner. your only requirement is that you do what you say you will. in essenc ethis clan is run on an "Honor Code." all who are part of the clan expect the other members to do their job. how do we all benefit from this? thats the easiest question...in a match, no one [b][i]NO ONE[/b][/i] can tell you what to do o rhow to fight. all you are required to do is what your name implies....oh yes and one more thing you are expected to do, have fun! this is a game, enjoy it!

All those people who keep emailing saying they want to join. Please continue to do so, but I need to know your AIM SN and your gaming name or the name you want to put after your AG tag. Thanks againg for the emails but I cant enlist you if I dont no who you are. Oh and Icedragon leave I dont need your advice. We have more members then you the reason for this is because people seem to like enlightened despots compared to tyranical rulers such as your self. Just look at the size difference I think im doing something right. Cant you see this clan is different then yours so nothing you know and believe about clans is good advice. SO STOP POSTING you want to give advice post it in your own forums read at the top it says dont post unless you are a member or interested in joining and have questions about the clan. lol, true. i think we may have to have some kind of organizational head, not just a founder. someone who is an observer and moderator was the intended job of our founder but once you start getting into littel factions wihtin the clan for organizational purposes, you start to get contrasing ideals...and that leads to chaos
