Forumn Avatars Creation
I can't wait til you guys open the doors for custom avatars. I have a few cool ones. I post them at HaloBabies.net. They are my 117 modified pics. They are cool.

Maybe an approval would be good, but the staff are never active. And imagine how many submissions they will get!

I agree with [b]Live killa[/b], who said that moderators, staff, etc. should approve your personal avatars. Ide like to have my own. ;D Individualism.. yay! [b]Dewmonster[/b], I've noticed that almost every single post you've made, it's been negative towards people who are trying to learn/understand something. You shouldn't crap on them all the time. Be nice, man!

A couple of forum members have made me avatars on the RvB forums and I use them just about everywhere because I like them. I wouldn't submit them A) because I didn't make them and B) They are basically specifically for me, dont you think? Haha. But with Yoozel doing it, some questionable pics might make it through. I like the idea though. Some of the "senior" people here have a lot of time on their hands. And by senior I mean people who Bungie would trust to do that sort of thing.

They should just like hire stosh, or yoozel, and let every one submit an avatar for there own personal use, and then stosh or yoozel can approve them, and no one else gets to use them but that person. This would take a long time, cause there would probably be hundreds of submitions a day, but thats why I suggested yoozel, lol.

90x90 or under. And they have to be less than 10k. If you think about it, 90x90 is only 810 pixels, and that means a GIF works nicely. And GIFs are really tiny in small images. My avatar is only 2k, and there is absolutely no image reduction in quality whatsoever. By the way, a 90x90 tiff is only 25k, and if you can't reduce it a little, there's something wrong with you (or you know nothing about this subject, so why are you even trying?). Something I will point out is that, while users are allowed to submit their avatars, these avatars will be available to everybody. Only Bungie employees and the b.net mod squad get unique avatars. Still, I'd say it was pretty cool if Bungie accepted one of my avatars for the entire forum to use. =) Nice work, guys. Makes me want to work on a few of my own. In fact...

Are Bungie.net crew officially accepting fan submitted avatars for consideration, or did you just submit anyway, General Fox? Is there a specific email to submit them to? :o Maybe this forum needs a search function... or am I just blind? [Edited on 4/19/2004 5:11:10 PM]
