Can't wait to get my hands on a copy!

I think for me halo has always been, about half art half gaming experiance for me. The games are beautiful. I super excited about these little books. I may have just creamed myself just reading about them. Regardless, cant wait to get my hands on one. while we are on the note, some insider updates like this that arent just about H:ODST or the new maps are refreshing and a good change up. Kuddos

I went to the book stores near where I live, but they didn't have it. T_T

Looks great. Thanks for all the interesting production info. I plan to add this to my Christmas list!

I was a huge fan of the Halo graphic novel that was released some time back, and I'm sure a similar amount (if not more) of love, care, and dedication went into the creation of this collection of art. Towards the end of the graphic novel was a collection of art pieces from various members of the Bungie staff, and it was possibly my favorite section of the book. To have a book devoted entirely to the art of Halo 3 sounds fantastic. I'm very much looking forward to acquiring a copy.

The Art, tells the Story!!

I will check it out for sure at the bookstore.
Posted by: AmanitaMusceria -blam!-. Nobody wants to know about this crap. Give us something about the maps. They say they are done, then why cant we get someinfo about them. I guess its a meek attempt to be suspensful, but its really just aggravating. If I wasnt so addicted to Halo I wouldn't buy the maps because of the stupidity Bungie puts us through. And what the hell was up with the last update? I thought this was bungie.net, not some stupid bunny site. Quite being so -blam!- bungie. Release images of the new maps. No one is going to buy the stupid art book. What they will buy is new maps, fools.
Without art, the product you're obsessed with wouldnt be. Neither would any maps. You're wrapped in ignorance and impatience. You are unwise.

I am looking forward to this. I would really like to get that book. It just might inspire me to draw some nice Halo themed pictures! :)

Neat! As a person interested in game design and wanting to enter the game development industry myself, this will certainly be an interesting read (or view :P). I'm a major fan of the art style in the Halo games and really enjoyed the storybards booklet by Lee Wilson that came with the Halo 3 Legendary edition. I'm sure I will enjoy this publication as much as I enjoyed the Half-Life 2 Raising the Bar book! [Edited on 11.24.2008 8:14 PM PST]

Currently it's been "officially" out for Four hours in England and yet none of my favourite late-night bookstores/coffee shops have it yet! ;_; Not even Waterstones! [Edited on 11.24.2008 7:56 PM PST]
