i heard a grunt say to me on Uprising: we make fire, sing songs? [b][u][color=white]My grunt story[/b][/u][/color] Uprising ---- Halo 2 ----- 14th February -------- start of level (no grunts) i started , picked up the enegy sword and killed all the brutes in my way. i swapped my Plasma rifle for a brute version, dualed it with another then set off -------- first inside room (with first grunts) i left killing the brutes too my Elites, especially the Zealot, and ran for the grunts. one was running down the small hill, so i quickly swapped one of my Plasma Rifles for him Plasma Pistol. he folowwed me up the hill to find the other grunt, to find he had been killed my one of the Jackals *cries*. Protecting my other grunt was my only objective from now on. i named him Leo. once everything was dead apart from my team , i went through the door with my crew. -------- first platform room (no new grunts) i started shooting the turret and the brutes and Jackals around it, when my grunt decided to be brave and ran off into battle. i followed him down and me and him killed everything, with the help of the Zealot, of course. ------ second platforn room i quickley dashed to the grunt cowering in the corner, gave him a Plasma Rfile the jumped down to the level below and protected the other grunt down there. he then said a brave thing "Me like Elites, Brutes stinky bad-bad. How about me stay here and make sure no more Brutes come up behind mighty Arbiter? huh?" i let him stay then proceded outside. ---------- first outside section (one new grunt) My Zealot ran straight away into the brutes and Jackals with the rest of my team following him. the Brute Captain came in the ghost so i killed him, got in the ghost and killed the rest of the brutes there with it. then something bad happened. one of my grunts had died. it was the little cowering one that was in the section above. so i had two grunts, the one who said the special thing in the section above had came out, and got in a ghost. here was the worst part. this grunt was brave, very brave. He done a Kamakazi into the turret. i took out some of the Brutes and the Snipers, again whith the help of the Zealot, but he rammed into the turret and killed himself, only to kill the brute on it. there was only one grunt left. i killed everything , yet again with the help of the Zealot, and all my Elites got in Ghosts. i went down the next pathway with the turret and the cowering red grunt who jumps on it, boarded the ghost and the Spectre, when my grunt got in the ghost and we set off. -------- explosive alley (no new Grunts) when coming too exposive alley, i got my grunt out of the ghost incase he decided to go flying through and get killed by the explosive canesters, i used my Brute Shot to explode them all then used my Beam Rifle to kill the Brutes and Jackals. i ran through with the crew, the grunt got back in his ghost. -------- the land of the Brutes (no new Grunts) i got my Beam Rifle out and shot most of the things there, then jumped down and made sure that my grunt landed on my head so he wouldn't take any damage.i killed everything while still making sure that my grunt lived, it was hard, i should of done it in Co-op. i did it though, so now here is the best bit. -------- the real Rocket launcher Grunt (no new Grunts) into the mini-armoury , i gave my grunt the best thing i could, a Rocket Launcher. He loved it. the only better thing than that is you knowing he loved it. When we went outside we mangled everthing, when the Ghost came. The Grunt didn't shoo it, he Boarded it! he swang around and took the best shot he could at the brutes. he boosted off and killed everything. he actually opened the door, i went through it, and the cool thing was he was in the cutscene but frozen! it was the greatest play i have ever had! - El Crappio

Hahaha, playing as the Arbiter, I had just killed a bunch of Brutes. Then a Grunt runs in and starts shooting all the corpses, saying "Big waste of ammo, but me no care. Hehehe!"

i love it when you give them the fuel rod cannon at the beginning of the flood level on the heretic campaign, they actually hug it and say stuff like me no deserve mighty arbiter, or what can me do for arbiter? They always die right there when the spawn pods show up but if you protect them there's one badass grunt that yells and shoots all over the place, hurling grenades. I love it when they go gung-ho.
