My Trek to Bungie

Saturday 24th, 2010 While visiting the colorful city of Seattle, I went exploring with a friend what Seattle has to offer. After being Picked up by my friend outside of the Ai Institutes of Seattle, where I have been going to visit their school, gave me a list of game developers I would like to visit. Knowing I had a special gift for Jerome already, visiting Bungie was definatly a priority. So around Noon, after eating at a local Bergermaster, My friend, and I set off to Bellevue to explore. First, asked if we could stop by Valve to see if they really let fans in. With hilarious results, I was turned down by a security woman at the main complex's building, so i was unable to speak to anyone from valve directly. Running across the street avoiding thousands of BMWs, I reached the car to tell my friend the disappointing news. So we then went out to Kirkland. As I passed by a beautiful scenery, my Friend told me as he was growing up he remembered that Kirkland wasn't even there and was all forest. Kirkland and Bellevue is defiantly a lot spread out than Seattle is. Anxiously awaiting for Bungie's HQ to come up at any moment, Clutching my hometown Indianapolis Colts hat I have been wanting to give Jerome, I finally reached Bungie. Suddenly, I see Jerome was leaving so I got out of the car while moving to try to catch up with him. I succeeded in completing my task as I watched a bewildered look on Jerome's face. Once I started explaining to him my name and why I was there, he started warming up and thanking my for giving him my Indianapolis Colts hat. Being oh so nice to me he was so generous enough to invite me in their new studio once finished. Elated, I asked him for a photo. Then asked if I could see the lobby, but sadly Jerome laughed and told me all those historic trophies and memorabilia has been moved already. He then thanked me again for the kind gift and I saw that he was very moved by the gesture and told me again I am welcome to come by the studio once they have moved and settled in. Thinking that my Journey was over I went back to the car as happier than I ever was this whole week, an idea had sprung from my mind. I asked my friend if we could go look at bungie's new studio! He said "sure why not". We rushed to the Bellevue Galleria, We got to the floor and something was puzzling me. Seeing that there was a festival going on near the Galleria, I was thinking why on earth would Bungie want a noisy place like this? But once I opened the door and let it close behind me, Everything turned deafening silent and my awe grew more than I could imagine. Bungie wasn't kidding on how they could fit their Kirkland studio into this one! There is a plot of space in there that is the size of a football field! A huge Kitchen, an elegant Lounging area, a Beautiful balcony, the same false floor they had at Kirkland for all their network cables. They had many office rooms, Giant meeting spots, a place were I think Marty will place his Ivory Tower. Everything you know about Bungie but multiplied by Infinity is in this building. After leaving everything the way it was and thanking my friend for this great tour we made our leave. This trip has made my trip from just a college visit to a dream come to real life. Thank you Bungie for allowing me entry into your world and to Jerome for being so kind. Keep up the great work and hope these next 10 years are virtuous and prosperous. Hope to see you and your new studio soon.
