Polls should be plainly labeled from the get-go; and edit function could very easily lead to this being defeated. I tend to skip polls because most of them bore me... I [i]like[/i] being able to bypass them if I wish. Also if you can just suddenly turn a thread into a poll they'll pop up like toadstools and completely defeat the purpose, not only of the thread, but of the poll and eventually the forum. Oversaturation will lead to lower response rates and poorer quality results of the polls anyway. -- Steve is starting to think that in order to start a poll one should have to answer a skill-testing question. Besides, Steve is being polled out the wazoo in real life because of an upcoming election.
