Compared to the bottomless pit of soul shredding agony that was Halo 2 legendary, I didn't have much trouble with the Halo 3 version. So I figured, "what the hey, I'll give SLASO a try." I don't think the term [i]SLASO[/i] had entered the Halo lexicon at the time, but I digress. After spending.... oh, I'd say about a zillion hours trying to get past rally point alpha on Tsavo Highway, I gave up. My proverbial hat is off to whoever can actually complete the Mythic campaign.

Well that sounds like a Challenge but, 1. Who has the time, seriously who does? 2. Doing it your self would be suicide in your mind to played the game that long, not dieing, not getting mad at the when you did, not giving up, and a bunch of other junk that there no point really to say 3. Doing it with your XBLF friends would be a bit easier, but eventually one of your friends (or you) Have to get off, and "Hello pissed off friends." (Hopefully not) 4. You need to sleep/eat/bathroom/live/School/Job. 5. The game was hard enough playing it on Legendary. 6. No check points really there to help you. 7. 360 would freeze/over heat/shut down at some point. 8. I Would think you would get bored/frustrated very quick. (and the list goes on) This is all I can think about it at this time and these are my thoughts, I'm not complaining about it at all. Feel free to add on to the list if you like though. Mythic is the understatement of the year! Mythic doesn't even begin to describe doing this. If you actually do this, someone from Bungie should come to your house and give you an achievement plaque of some sort in person. (and they should give that person recon(and no I haven't done it)). Speaking of this, last time B.net put up the stat for this "Mythic run" there had only been 2 people to have ever done it, wonder what the count is at now. [Edited on 10.23.2008 1:26 PM PDT]

They should have a little medal in your service record saying you beat it on Mythic.

I have made attempts when the game started because one of there vids on xb marcetplace was about the skulls and they esentualy put a change out to the community before the game came out but I was unsecsessfull

I've beat Mythic. I got nothing except being Number 5 and being extremely happy to actually pull of a extremely hard challenge. My videos are in my File Share if you want to watch them.
