Highest Rated Films of the Day One more crazy search example: Highest rated infection screenshots taken on sandtrap...in the last month Make your own searches by changing the options in the drop-downs. Remember to search before you sort and filter. Here's a short File Share Q & A:
Q. Somone made a file set with my file! A. Yup. Anyone can make a file set using your stuff BUT author created file sets get priority over other sets. This means your file set will be the default and users will have to use the drop-down to see the other file sets.

Q. I don't want to search by tag. I just want to see all the files and sort them. A. Select your file type and leave the search field blank. Search and then sort/filter. Easy!

Q. Cooliris isn't working! A. You have to do a search for all screenshots, gallery or fileshare screenshots. Then hover over the thumbnail. A mixed file search result won't work. Cooliris is also enabled in your screenshot gallery and recent screenshots.

Q. Where are the file forums!! A. The file forums have been hidden. We still use them for file comments. Tag your files! People will find your file if it's good and tagged correctly.

Q. Why do some files have a blue background? A. We decided to spotlight bungie pro users because they're awesome! Want a blue background and bigger more awesome fileshare? Get Bungie pro.

Q. How many tag submissions does it take before the tag is actually applied to the file? Can you report specific tag ratings? A. 1. You can't report bad tags (you can of course report the file). What you can do is rate up the tags that are correct. Sure your file might get tagged incorrectly but that's ok--files are sorted by the numbered of times they've been tagged. EX: Someone tags your elite screenshot "spartan". Since it's only been tagged once your screenshot will be displayed on the last page of the search result (for spartan). We have tools to combat griefing as well. We display the top seven tags for a file first and you have to click on "show all tags" to see the rest. Think of the top seven tags of what the file actually is--and the remaining tags are what the file may or may not be.
If you have any questions or feedback leave it here! Thanks! •
Posted by: gothi That's the point Kiwi Noob, I have over 1500 games in my history, do you expect me to go to each one and click on the Files tab to see what was created or, and here's the good bit... do I write some software that scans all your Game History and catalogues every game with Files available because there's no other way apart from checking thousands of games by hand...
Oh I see now, all the files from all the games you've played. As I said:
Still no option to find all files created from games you've played, regardless of who made them. For that you'll need the Halo 3 Asset-O-Matic :)
:D

That shows all the files created from that game.

 • I love the Cooliris feature and all the new changes are taking a little bit to get used to but overall it seems pretty cool.

 • Searching by tags is great but is it possible to search by file name as well?

 • Isn't that date thing just done by editing the description? I don't really see what's so bad about it, my file share items have the wrong dates because I edited their names after I first saved them, and now the dates on them are when I edited them, not when I first saved them. Also, when I make things in Forge offline, I have to re-save them when I'm online to get my name as the author, and that also messes with the date. So does it really matter if people intentionally edit the date? Although I suppose I'm not saying I made it in 2025. [Edited on 10.17.2008 5:16 PM PDT]

 • I really dislike this update, it is so confusing! Reasons: 1. in the file share, i dont know how many comments i have, therefore i have to go through about 20 threads to see if i have feedback. 2. it is so confusing!!!

 • Hey Stosh, if something goes wrong, I want to be the only person on Bungie.net that doesn't want to blame you! So you'll have atleast one of the millions of people here as backup if this thing crashes. Oh, and a comment on the "who uses the download to Halo 3 option?" question: Maybe someone makes a new account and wants his/her old screenshots with him/her. But, he/she doesn't want them on their file share quite yet. Then the little lonely button that couldn't would come in handy. So, I think it will come in handy every once in a while. Thanks for adding it back Stosh! And a question, sorry for all the hassle- What exactly will happen with screenshots from Halo 3: Recon? Will they be mixed in with Halo 3, or will they have a new, chocolatey layer of its own here at Bungie.net? If there isn't an answer, it's ok- I don't blame you. For now, I'll set my blame on... Hmm... Shishka! W00t!

 •
Question: Why are the pictures in Cooliris at such low resolutions? They show up as 878p x 494p, the same as the preview page, don't they? Is/Was it impossible to link them up to the 'full' (HD) images at 1920p x 1080p?
We show the thumbnail until you zoom on it a bit...Don't want cooliris to melt our servers.
