4chan strikes en masse, PETA pushes for human milk in ice cream...

so... for whatever reason... i decided i needed to know what /b/ was yesterday*. there was a post on there with this link, urging all /b/-goers to vote "yes" for Ben & Jerry's to use human milk in their ice cream. when i clicked the link it was 12% for yes, but now it is 17%.
not a huge difference? look at the amount of votes. 30,000 people said no. enough 4chan-ers clicked yes (ah, who else would it be anyway?) to raise it to 17%. and i'll bet it'll be going up still.
anyway, thoughts on the article, 4chan aside?
*i hate /b/. i am scarred and i probably should go get tested for AIDS now.

I voted yes, just for lulz. But srsly, PETA is full of -blam!-. "Using cow's milk for your ice cream is a hazard to your customer's health. Dairy products have been linked to juvenile diabetes, allergies, constipation, obesity, and prostate and ovarian cancer. The late Dr. Benjamin Spock, America's leading authority on child care, spoke out against feeding cow's milk to children, saying it may play a role in anemia, allergies, and juvenile diabetes and in the long term, will set kids up for obesity and heart disease-America's number one cause of death." ^That has got to be the biggest bunch of bull-blam!- I have ever read.

Ok PETA just contradicted themselves there. They said that the reduction of people using cows milk in ice cream would ease their suffering. How exactly? Every brand of ice cream in the world would have to swtich to 100% human milk. Other wise whats the point? People are still going to use cow's milk because I bet human milk will be more expensive. Wow, go PETA, you're going to make such a difference in this world! Butt wipes.

Butt wipes.[/quote] [i]exactly[/i]. if you didn't comprise it completely of human milk, you would still be using some cow's milk, therefore defeating the purpose. the rest of the cows would just be used for the production of milk sold in containers instead of ice cream. unless the entire "milk" industry was completely dependent on human donors, the cows would only be shuffled around to different companies. plus, if you don't milk them... ???

haha i have a hard time believing that obesity and heart disease are the "number one cause of death" in America. yesterday it was drunk driving. the day before that it was alcohol. tomorrow it will be... whatever an interest group manipulates it to be.

Well, the PETA people must have all aborted their illigitimate kids, or perhaps the PETA males have zero sperm count from anemia induced by low protein diets, because obviously no PETA woman has ever lactated. One woman makes barely enough milk for two infants, much less industrial ice cream production. Plus, the milk is watery and wouldn't make ice cream worth a damn. (Though it is kind of tasty). I could see Ben and Jerry's marketing a breast milk flavored ice cream (artificial flavors, maybe), because they are acid dropping hippie freaks anyway, but unless you hooked up every woman in China to a pump, forget using the real thing.
