Day 3 - How Have You Been Adjusting?

The tag system had me slightly worried at first, as I thought I might be missing out on threads that are important or relevant to me as a result of me not properly utilizing the tag feature, but it actually seems to work extremely well after having used it a number of times. And while I still dislike the appearance of Hashtags around the site, their functionality is an awesome addition. Have you guys warmed up to the tag system yet? Or are you still adjusting?

  • I'll admit that I love some of the new features, and this white thing can easily be changed, many of the problems are aesthetics, and I'm sure that will change when we're out of beta. We'll get titles back, and it will look much better. The tagging system is okay, I'd much rather prefer forums though. Perhaps tags within a forum? So, you'd have to go to the relevant forum first, like, the flood, or off topic... whatever you want to call it. So any threads made within that forum, would be in that forum, and it would be just like bungie.old. You could scroll through pages of "The flood", newest threads or recently bumped threads would go to the top. This would be the default view. But people making threads, could also use tags for their threads. So, so while it would appear in The Flood, if they hashtagged Girlproblems or something like that, anyone searching in the hashtag Girlproblems would find that thread more easily. This way, tags and forums can return. It would be a nice mix of the two.
