Where have all of the normal non-founder members gone?
I don't know for sure, but I think (and obviously I am) that the Column is not getting the word out that well. I have friends, who I normally trusted to be Bungie fans, but in recent months they have become much less so. Is this why no one seems to be doing anything, or is it the lack of actual Bungie staff participation that is hurting the active membership of the Column? Or is there something else...

People can only stay interested so long. We have months to go before Halo 2's release, and what is there to do? Most people have gotten tiered of Halo by now. Sure they still play it, but it's not with the same feverent intensity that they once had.

ive been here for almost a year now and I dont hav the interest I used to in HALO but I still have interest in the column and it's my duty to be a bungie.net fan,it's us vets that keep the column in line...if we leave it will become........the land of n00bs....well off to play some full spectrum warrior c yu guys in a lil while...

Ok, I finally agree with something Obbi said. Most people won't stay interested in something for so long. Sure people play Halo, but we've pretty much played it into oblivion. Thought that little LAN on Sunday was fun, 4v4, Hang 'Em High, CTF. 2 hours before someone won... Well not to say that the 7th Column totally revolves around Halo, you can find several chapters that started off that way, but have evolved into so much more.

The seventh column really doesn't have much to offer. Ok, you can have a private forum about Halo and whatnot, and sometimes set up games, but so what? There are so many other games out here and now that are well worth playing that it isn't worth your time to sit around on Bungie.net drooling over Halo2 when you could be playing other stuff. The only people left here are 'hardcore' (aka wackos) fans, those too cheap to buy other games and people like me who are a little of both.
