So everyone who's beat the game knows about The Stranger. A strange female Exo who follows you on your journey.
It's not much of a theory, but I think she's working for the Traveler. She obviously doesn't just go invisible and it doesn't seem like she's being sent back to any type of ship... But at the end, she vanished towards the Traveler. It's also quite obvious that she doesnt work for The Awoken.
Not a big theory, very subtle, and it could be symbolism for something else... But that's my 2 cents on the matter. Needless to say, there are two expansions and 2 more games. I expect her to become a major character.

Her guns information says it has bits that aren't even invented yet. She vanishes/teleports/timetravels like the Vex do. She mentions that you should always choose a side, even if its the wrong one. I think she betrayed the traveller, hence the 'wrong side', and is travelling back in time to undo her errors.

She could be a member of the alien race from early concepts. The ones in the pyramid ships. She does look like an Exo, but that alien race looked similar to the Exo. I wish I had links to the images I'm talking about, but it was a while ago and I don't remember.

She was not forged in light, but the opposite witch means she is more than likely from another time/dimension where the traveller is the darkness.

Who was she talking to, I wonder.. Her boss? Perhaps Osiris? Or the Nine? They seemed pretty impatient...

Think she's a manifestation of the Traveler itself, at least that's what I thinking

I'm of a similar frame of mind... If you noticed the direction of travel when she leaves the dock. She says that she was not created in the light (or something along those lines). So I'm thinking that she was the final thing created by the traveler as opposed to the ghosts. OR going back to the theory on here that the traveler was just a vessel then maybe she was the pilot.
