Face it,Destiny doesn't have "it", whilst being a good game, it lacks that certain quality that makes games like Halo, Mass Effect, Portal and many others stay in the memory for many years. Destiny will not be played religiously over half a decade from release like Halo 3 is, or like how Marathon still draws thousands after all this time, Destiny is not the new high point for Bungie, it's the core element that will allow them to rebuild and become the company they once were.
Hopefully Destiny will succeed, because that means a new Marathon, and that will heal Bungie and finally cast a bit of love The Flood's way. So, essentially Marathon>>>>>>>>>>>>Destiny

I'm guessing this is troll bait? But if not: your loss that you can't grasp how fun and addicting this Shooter-RPG is. I always ended up coming back to Halo's Firefight over the years; it's shooter mechanics are very addictive. But my stays were only momentarily. Once I got it my fix, there wasn't much else keeping me there. Destiny solves this with an open world and a character progression system. Maybe you just don't enjoy the 'numbers, skills, and bars to fill up' that goes along with RPG's?
