I disagree with you. Never heard of marathon so couldn't be that good.

It's something that generally speaking only fans of Bungie are aware of, also it may be relatively unknown to some of the young guns on here.

While I disagree with the OP, Marathon is a well known title amongst Bungie fans. A lot of the tropes and aesthetics Bungie are known for can be traced back to that series, especially Halo (and Destiny for that matter).
