Outbreak Perfected Catalyst Crafting Bug
My friend is having issues reshaping outbreak with it's catalyst. Only he has the issue I do not. It says the it Requires purchase. Fixed the link so you can see a screenshot from his point of view.

The so called "purchase" needed to insert the catalyst into the crafted version, is owning regular catalyst for the non-craftable version. if you don't have the non-craftable version, and the craftable one is your first outbreak perfected, then running the mission on normal a second time, will award you a copy of the regular version, to earn the regular catalyst in the future.

Hey there again, After investigation, it looks like the text might be incorrect and it just means that you need to acquire the catalyst to craft it into the Outbreak.

1 ReplyI also run into this problem and hopefully, Bungie will look into it. I also completed the Legend Zero Hour with the group, but I got stuck in the Fire room since I didn't know the solution to puzzle and I performed poorly on the jumping puzzles (I'm very bad at jumping puzzles), but my brother and the other teammate completed it. I got the completion twice as well, and the issue is that I did not make it to the final boss arena and I didn't pick up the chest. So, my guess is that this is the reason why my Outbreak Perfected Disease Vector catalyst got the "Requires Purchase" when trying to put in the catalyst. Speaking of the current situation, I am managed to put in Rapid Hit for the upgrade after completing it on Legend difficulty. The Week 1 quest for Outbreak Perfected is also completed along with the required pressing of the switches for the catalyst. For the patterns of the new Outbreak Perfected, I have a record on getting the pattern extracted. For the achievement of completing the Legend difficulty, it was also recorded. But, when I toggled to click on the Legend difficulty for Zero Hour, it still says the rewards include the non-craftable Outbreak Perfected and the Catalyst. I wonder if anyone had issues with the "Require Purchase" when reshaping the weapon. Let me know if those that opened the chest and completed the boss fight experienced the bug. My situation as mentioned earlier, is that I missed out on the fight and didn't get the full experience to reach the final boss. We will see how this goes. I'm going to give it another attempt to complete it on Legend to see if I can get the catalyst or the "Purchase Required" will remain. while dealing with my problems in doing jumping puzzles.

My son is having this problem as well. We have tried everything to get that to go away and we can’t.

1 ReplyMy friend is also having this issue, here are the things we have tried to fix it without luck: -Completed on normal -Got the first intrinsic -Completed the Outbreak Refined I quest -Pulled both catalyst switches in time -Leveled Outbreak to level 17 -Reshaped Outbreak -Shaped a new Outbreak Still says "Requires Purchase"

I have the exact same problem but I’ve actually done the legend difficulty mission and it says required purchase when I try to put it on, hopefully a bug and gets fixed soon because I really want the catalyst on the weapon.
