Requires Clay Shooting game variant.
This mini-game is inspired by the clay pigeon shooting game from the NES classic, Duck Hunt. Players take turns firing the Gauss warthogs at a number of targets (zombie pigeons) that are launched through the air in succession.
Screenshots Here
The zombie pigeons start in a caged pigeon coop, where they wait 10 seconds for the teleporters to open up. After the teleporters open, the zombie pigeons are launched and the humans with the Gauss zappers try to hit as many as they can in 2 minutes. But these aren't clay pigeons, they're zombie pigeons, and they have sniper rifles (an infection is worth 2 points). The shield on the Gauss provides great cover from the sniper fire, but you have to look right at the pigeons, so your sides aren't exposed. Humans are set for instant kill, but zombies do normal damage (actually they only do damage when they get one of the custom powerups from the launchers). Humans' shields do not recharge, though.
The game supports up to 16 players. For games with 7 players or less, there will only be one human shooter. The rest will be zombie pigeons (zombie selection is random). For games with 8 players, there will be 2 shooters and 6 pigeons. For games with more than 8 players, a new player class is used: sitting ducks. All extra players beyond 8 begin as the sitting ducks. These are humans that spawn on a floating platform off the edge of the map. They are limited in movement and armed with only plasma pistols. Their purpose is basically to become zombie pigeons (the idea is that you'll eventually have 2 shooters and up to 14 pigeons).
Thanks to ForgeHub and everyone who helped for all the testing and ideas.
