Subject: Audio Logs Missing

Hey all,
Went through the single player campaign and found 10 audio logs and I made a map and kept track of where I found them. I then went through with friends and found all the audio logs on Co-op. I decided to go find the remaining logs in single player and some of the logs I didn't find before are not there and some are. Is this a glitch because I did the Co-op first?

Thanks for the help,
Cerberus

Because we didn't listen to them when we found them in Co-op and when you go back into Co-op you start from scratch and I'd like to hear all of sadie's story... so I need to find the missing ones in single player.

Basically I want to know if this is a glitch or am I not doing something correctly because I have gone to locations that I know I didn't get in single player that aren't there now.

Eat the path.

It's not a glitch, audio logs you find on Co-op do not carry over to the single player campaign. You're gonna have to search for them again.

The Audio Logs you find in Co-Op are separate from the ones you find in Solo. You will have to find them all again. It's better to do it Solo, because if you do it Co-Op, you can't skip to the level (Date Hive) that has the final Log. On Solo, you can.

I agree. I found 28 logs on Single Player Campaign. When I tried finding the Audio Logs in Co-Op, I started from the beginning.

I was having an issue with the audio logs - only finding 28 audio logs and going over ALL the location points only to not find any of them glowing in yellow.

I discovered that certain audio logs are only available after you complete certain flashback mission. On Easy, I ran through the game on co-op (with the second controller sitting beside me - resulting in a non-active teammate). After completing the first flashback mission (as Buck I believe) I was able to get to the first 5 or 6 audio logs. Then I had to do the next flashback mission before opening up the rest of the city. Once I completed that next mission, the entire city was opened up and I was free to go around and collect the rest of the 29 Audio Logs (leaving the 30th for the Hive). I discovered that 6-8 audio logs were NOT available for retrieval. Once I completed the very NEXT flashback mission - the rest of the audio logs were available.

I'm going to try this all again on a new profile and see if I get the same results on single player campaign. I'll present my findings when I can.

BTW, if anyone wants to try and get the rest of the Vidmaster achievement, let me know. Rogue out.

I can confirm this as I had the same experience. I had found about 15 or 16 audio logs during the single player campaign, and then went back to specific levels to earn various achievements, which "reset" my campaign progress.

On Easy, I ran through Mombassa Streets using a map to find all of the Audio Logs, but found that none were available. At first, I thought that was because I had found all of the obvious ones during the campaign, but then I completed the first flashback mission and one or two additional Audio Logs became "retrievable."

Again, I ran through the entire city and could not retrieve all of the Audio Logs, so I completed the next flashback mission. After that, I found quite a few more, but five of them (not including the 30th on Data Hive) were still not "retrievable." That's when I searched on the availablity of Audio Logs and found this forum post. After completing the third flashback mission, the remaining Audio Logs were retrievable.
