anyway that is most likely real, as it states the creator posted it on youtube and he does work at bungie (i think)

if he's not really a bungie employee, then it's fake.

EDIT: that site says it hasn't been leaked, that it's 100% legitimate, but why would the vid have been taken down?... if it wasn't leaked?

looks pretty cool, but I wouldn't really class it as "Reach" material. It could be from any halo game, or just something he did for his portfolio. It's still a nice find though =)

Well i dont remember any deaths being so "smooth" and i know i have never seen a marine or npc do that. If it is reach it confirms BR in reach.

it could just be a filler weapon...

but if the BR is in the game it should not be the end all to all your weapon needs, cause to be honest i am sick of them.

Well the original concept art for ODST had BRs and look what happened to it. Also, if they make it much more like the Halo: CE pistol (it shoots off one bullet semi-automatically) then I am fine with it. Also, I remember they showed off these kind of animations for the Brutes in the first gameplay ViDoc for Halo 3. Too bad they cut all those moves out. Hopefully these moves won't be cut out because I really want to see a marine literally beat the crap out of a Jackal. Also, the Elites, if they have full shields, should grab the marines fist if he tries to punch him, punches the marine in the face, and then elbows him and then, depending on rank, either blasts him in the head with his plasma rifle or stabs him in the back with his energy sword. That would be epic.

Lol. I love this. A dude is giving us some info on the game, risking a ban and this is all you say. He clearly isn't intentionally posting a leak and checked it over to make sure it wasn't. Give him a break.

Thank you for posting this. I hope this is actually in game though. Always disappointed when I see these as neither halo 2 nor halo 3 had these amazing animations that they show'd off.

And hopefully that means the return of the pistol whip. Also, real or not, we still will see gameplay sometime this year as Bungie said in the Podcast that Reach is playable so that all but confirms that we'll see some juicy campaign or multiplayer gameplay footage this year.

In some of the vidocs for Halo 3 there were a few of these. A marine getting slammed into a box by a beserking brute, an elite cutting off a brutes legs with duel swords. I really hope they actually keep cool animations this time.
