Okay, here is a picture of Romeo, from ODST.

Now, look at this picture. (If you can, zoom in.)

Why I'm bringing this up is that I believe that Halo 3: ODST will have customizable characters alongside selectable characters. (e.g. playing as Carmine or a Locust Kantus in Gears 2 Multiplayer.) Looking at the second picture, you see two ODSTs, both with a blue stripe on their helmet and one with bullets wrapped around the leg. (I provided the picture of Romeo as a reference.)

Another picture proving my point is here. (You'll have to be able to zoom in to see this.) The ODST on the left has brown markings on his leg, and other gear resembling Dutch's but the helmet lacks the markings that makes Dutch look badass. The ODST in the middle is definite proof as a large red stop sign is painted onto the chest.

Earlier, I mentioned "... customizable characters alongside selectable characters," and I believe this because of the Sergeant Johnson pre-order bonus. The ability to play as Johnson means that it is possible Bungie will allow us to play Firefight, and maybe even online co-op with customized characters.

That stop sign is probably the emblem. If you notice, inside the stop sign, you see the Ohnoudont, or whatever that symbol is called, with the icon toggled off.

if i could customize, i would have dutch's helmet, and micky's shoulders on both sides and i would be orange like dutch, except i want to be a sniper....that would be beastly

Hmm...well, I do think that customizing ODST's would be cool, but did anyone else see Romeo's very short sniper rifle in the first pic?
i think his sniper is upside down. ins't the barrel on top and that little stuppy think under the barrel? but yes his sniper does seem shorter

It looks short because hes holding it in front of the Scope

Those emblems look pretty awesome. Much more vibrant than in Halo 3. I see that they added new emblems (Like the SuperIntendent emblem), but I hope they kept the other emblems too.

Oh, maybe they'll have an ODST emblem with the SMG's instead of swords to replace (hopefully not) the spartan emblem.
