We haven't said a great deal about the specifics for our next playlist update but there is one thing I can confirm - a new 2 vs. 2 playlist is being planned.

Here's your chance to help us out once again - what are your ideas for what this playlist should be called? There's a 15 character limit and obviously it needs to be fairly descriptive and nothing offensive.

Also, what kind of games do you enjoy playing in a 2v2 scenario the most? We'll be looking at the maps that work best for 4 players and adding the gametypes that we feel offer the best experience. (like 2v2 invisible brute shots on waterworks, for example)*

- how about having it consist of mainly new maps? it would be a great change.

I'd like to see some King/ Crazy King as well as some things we don't normally see, like Neutral Flag or Team Rifles. Single flag CTF could be fun too. Although I think at least half of the games should be Team Slayer.

Oddball with 3 balls could be funny.

I've been waiting for 2v2 for a while, and finally your approving it of coming out. I think you should make it MLG settings or just normal settings. Please don't make phantoms if 2v2 because me and I know, many other people hate phantoms is team slayer. Also maps you should use would be Ivory Tower, Midship, Foundation, Ascension, Lockout(normal slayer), or even Zanzibar. Please no Burial Mounds! Anyways I think if you made it MLG settings and normal settings it would be fine. Possibly swords match, and rockets match.

Edit: Yeah, Foundation too, Burial Mounds worked pretty well for Single Territory, and I agree on the swords or rockets. And I also think that MLG settings would be good also.

Yeah, also MLG settings, Burial Mounds was fun with Single Territory, same with Foundation, just as long as the maps aren't too big. Rockets and swords sound good also.

I want to see it called simple "2 vs 2" or "2 man team" or "2 on 2". Anything like that really.

I would like to see it be mainly Team Slayer to 25, but the odd Skirmish game would be ok. I'd say no CTF or Assault though. Odd ball and territories I think would be the only things that would work even slightly.

Okay I Got A Idea

Name: Battle Slayer
Well I was thinking for a 2v2 it would need small maps like...
Lockout , Midship.. etc
except have it more like Team Swords And Stuff because that rarely comes by. It should be not normal slayer either like 2v2 Slayer Snipers. 2v2 Rockets.. yah etc


NO SKIRMISH GAMETYPES
Ball wouldnt work to good and no colossus.
People tend to hide on the last minute and you never seem to find them ANYWHERE.

Well... Maybe you could also release the option of choosing the preffered map and using rumble pit, team skirmish, and other playlists as main things and use the maps and 2 vs 2 as subsections.

doubles slayer ---- name
mlg ---- weapons
head to head maps ---- maps
only normal slayer maps or all snipers. No rockets or sword please those take no skill.
