Ok, I did a search on Google for I Love Bees, and on the right, in the sponsored listings, there was a lone adword:

and yet
i remember
what are these errant memories?
www.errantmemory.com

So I clicked on it, and was taken to a strange page with a Macromedia flash animation. Some text flew up on the screen :

what...
am I?
bits of data
sequences of numbers
and yet...
I remember
what are these...
errant memories?

Then pictures of famous people flash up, Neil Armostrong, Elvis and Martin Luther King are the first three. Each one of these pictures is accompanied by a number, sometimes with a dot. Here's the code:

3. 8. 56. 51 .0 .53. 7. 150 .3. 15.

All of this is played over a piece of music. I don't recognise it, but it kinda sounds like the Halo theme (although that's probably me looking for a connection that isn't there!). The animation just repeats after the sequence finishes.

Now, I can't see any connection to Halo, besides the "I Love Bees" trigger for the adword. Now I've done some searching, and this is the ONLY phrase that triggers it. "I Love Bee" doesn't trigger it, "Love Bees" doesn't trigger it, "I Love" doesn't trigger it, and "I love Bees +anything else" doesn't trigger it. So someone is bidding on the exact phrase [I Love Bees] (I work with Google Adwords, so trust me). Every click on the ad costs the advertiser $0.05 US (I presume it's American), yet there is no exit on the site. No links at all.

This is very strange, people don't use Adwords like this. People use Adwords to sell something, and hence make money. Or to promote charities. No one uses adwords to divert traffic to a site with a cryptic message, triggered by only one search term. Well, except Bungie, perhaps ;)

Any ideas anyone?

Maybe...that would be good, although it could lead to huge expectations and then people getting dissapointed like what happened with halo 2.
Good find, i'll go check it out.

could those numbers be and adress or phone number of some sort?

Maybe those numbers are linked in some way to that code on the converstaions of the universe (or whatever it's called, i dont have the LE). Also, that "bits of data" could be reffering to either cortana (possibly linkin with the hwole going rampant thing) or that "strong prescence, fighting back" in high charity.

Does anyone know when this ad appeared, coz if it was before halo 2, was released chances are it's got nothing to do with halo.

anyone think those dots may be something else besides periods. maybe multiplication symbols. i'm convinced that those numbers are the key to figuring what ever this is out.

No offense, but I think that this has nothing to do with Halo 3, and we all just want Halo 3 soo bad that we are searching for some source of info.

This is interesting. ILB was freekin' fantastic. ILB was also somewhat difficult to figure out, for example: deciphering the SPDR code.

This new thingie seems very amatureish. I would keep an eye on the ARG community to see how they react to it.

hey can any one do a WHOIS search on I love Bees.com?? Maybe if they are made bye the same people then we know what to expect... a puzzle... and did anybody else notice that the page will expire in exactly a year.... Usually people get the site up and run it at minimum for like 2-3 years.... why would somebody only set this for a year???... also what about the code in the back of the Halo 2 guide.... are the numbers the same??? I don't have one....

Well you can't deny that's it's there, and does sound like it's linked with ILB's. The Terminology is very similar.
