Same with myself Talons,

I was just playing 3 player co-op, we jumped though the rings, they lit up, skull appeared, friend grabbed the skull, finished the level.

Yay right?
No.
My two friends had unlocked it, but not I.

I am offically sad,
But I am about to try to level again.

I haven't played the SP yet I've only played online. Pride means -blam!- to me so as long as I get the helmet I'm happy. Whats the quickest way of doing so? Is it a requirement to have multiple people or does that just make it quicker.

no you can't, the lowest level you can do it on is normal. and pride? i just exit levels once i find all the skulls in them, speed rushing the whole way. if i wanted to play the level for pride i'd do it on legendary anyway
