We are merely hours away from midnight, ergo August 16th. I have the window in another tab and constantly checking it. Any ideas on whats gonna happen?
EDIT: As of now, there is a new line of text next to the August 16th date revealing certain times. And Server 05's status is 0. Looks like today might be the day we unlock Server 05. Join in on the Discussion and lets crack the code!
EDIT 2: So many things are happening. This is a big day for Halo 3. GoFilms are mentioned to be filming something about Halo 3, and some of our members have called the GoFilms number and have confirmed that a commercial about the Halo 3 ARG is being filmed. Read the last few pages for more details.
EDIT 3: Its finnaly over, 100 keys are entered. it started as one, then two, then 3, then 4, then 11, then 50, then it kept going to 100. Many have tried, many have failed. Outrages burst from peoples angry mouths, but now we are at peace. Now feel free to discuss it.
WHATS HAPPENED SO FAR
* On the morning of today, nothing seemed to be happening although it was the date on the artifact
* Later that morning, the Artifact Location page updated to add military times next to the dates "23:59 (11:59 PM) for New York, and 21:00 (9:00 PM) for Seattle and Los Angeles.
* In the early hours of the afternoon, halo3.com updated showing "Server 05" with the status of "0" (indicating no one has entered a key). No Bounce Path Control has been found yet
* Soon after, the page to enter your key has been found, and people can register. However no key has been found.
* A site named www.awesomemods.com has been "hacked" to resemble something to do with the Halo 3 ARG. The page displays several forerunner symbols and a text input box. This site is believed to be the Bounce Path Control for Server 5, but has not yet be confirmed.
* A site displaying film production schedules has displayed something noted for Halo 3 to be filmed on location in Los Angeles between 7:00pm to 10:00pm. It is to be filmed by GoFilms.
* GoFilms site has been found, and displays two phone numbers. One for new york, and one for L.A. When you call the L.A number, a secretary answers , and when one person asked if it had to do with the Halo 3 ARG, she said yes, it has to do with the halo 3 arg and they are filming a commercial for it. This confirms that a commercial is being made for the Halo 3 Iris, however we do not know when it will be released.
We still do not know whats going to happen tonight at 9 and 11:59, so you can share your ideas about what the commercial will be about. And we do not know ANYTHING about what keys you are supposed to enter, just be patient. Everything will unfold soon enough.
