This ban will never expire. You have been banned from participating in this area of bungie.net permanently.

Have you ever played Garry's Mod for HL2? It'll be like that.

Good find with the destructible monitor. Even if it were destructible though, they can just fly away from the other players and hide in a corner.

nvm

I'm pretty sure you can spawn things.
How else could you get 10+ fusion coils?

I just wanted to confirm that the ability to spawn new objects is possible.
Remember the Bungie update where somebody used Forge to spawn a lot of fusion cores and set there respawn time to almost instant to send the Elephant spiraling?
And also consider the spending limit as well..; I don't think the game would overload by just moving a box or two.. Am I right?

Yes you can spawn things, like in one of the pictures of High ground you see a Scorpion tank dropping out of the sky.

  • 08.08.2007 10:55 PM PST

I think the spawning fusion cores was taken out just because of the fact that the elephant became an unstopable killing machine moving faster than a warthog barriling through sandtrap. Although yes i agree spawning fusion cores might be possible but i am sure that what happened to the elephant was taken out of the game.

Though I think it's still possible or else there wouldn't be a real need for a spending limit.
Anyways, can't they always just increase the Elephant's mass?

The below line is true.
The above line is false.
Confused yet?

2% of the population have, will have, or has put something like this in their signature. If you're one of the 98% who is very annoyed by things like this, copy & paste this into your signature.

Forge isn't in matchmaking, and that's freaking hilarious, so I doubt it will be removed. SATANIC PINATA FTW!

Lot's of good info here. Thanks!

  • 08.08.2007 11:05 PM PST

I'm pretty sure you will be able to spawn objects because forge would be stupid without the option to do that. Look at the weekly update or in EGM where a scorpion is falling out of the sky.
I don't know if monitors are destructible or not.

Where did you get your information from?

I have EGM where does it say you can't spawn things or the monitors are destructible.(That I believe may be true though.) If there is a spending limit that means you can spawn things.

The article doesn't say "You can't spawn new things," nor does it say "Monitors are destructible." That's the info he wanted your source on.

I think I've read somewhere that monitors are indestructible.
And i really hope that you can spawn fusion cores, because i really wanted to spawn tonnes of fusion cores in the sky to land on the enemy base and kill them!
man, that would rock...

I won the Reconnaissance Raiment in the first Mythic Brawl Screenshot Contest.

I do not accept random friend requests, and if you send me a random group invitation I will block you.

It didn't say that tossing the grenade into a pile of power cores would kill you. It said that it would ruin a Monitor's work, and before the Monitor had the chance to kill you, you could easily switch back to a Monitor for safety. So, I seriously doubt that a Monitor is destroyable.

Also, the fact that there is a spending limit means that items HAVE to be spawnable. Because if they aren't, there would be no reason to have the spending limit in the first place. Sure, you can drag and drop, but you can spawn as well.
