No Matter the Size, Finish the Fight.
Map: Edited with a point of reach (make it to the spot, you win).
Gametype: Team VIP
Gamename: Transport
Time Limit: Varies on size of map
Synopsis: Basically, instead of having individual VIPs and trying to kill the heck out of them as they run, have an objective for the VIP to reach a certain extraction point, like that in Rainbow Six Vegas. If the map is editable to where you can place a spot of victory, then this will work well, but if not, then it will just go by what the host determines. One team's VIP has to make it to the point and if they reach it within the time limit, they win.
Basically, it's VIP with giving the VIP an objective.
Map: Any with the availability of two opposite sides.
Gametype: Team Slayer
Gamename: Dodgeball Redux
Time Limit: 5 minutes recommended
Number of Lives: 1 per round (3 rounds)
Weapon: Brute Shot with spawning grenades
Synopsis: I know that this gametype has been thought of before, but with the options of where to put the spawn points, this would work out great, especially on symmetrical maps or, if possible, edit the already existing maps to create 2 sides. As long as you know the objective of dodgeball, without the catch an opponent's ball and have a teammate come back in, you will have a blast playing this. Note that you can not cross to the others side under any circumstances unless you are a party pooper. Thank you.
