Everything is okay
I think we need to stop complaining and atleast see what the final shape is like before we start complaining because bungie might surprise us and might actually balance it out for we don't know what the future holds

The campaignes are always weak compared to real videogames like Mass Effect, Witcher or even Gears Of War. Talking about Gears, just compare the death scene of Dom, to the death of Amanda... night and day. Anyway, I'm chillin', I don't expect to much, just wonder if Prismatic and all the new gear will be worth 40 euro or just 15 euro.

2 Replies***SNIPPED & REPOSTED *** Some interesting points raised throughout this lively thread, from both sides of the debate. Trolls and card-carrying members 🤡 of the BDF notwithstanding, there is no ‘this way is best’ answer to any of it. This game has been mismanaged since D1Y1. The Sunset debacle and D2 Beta were major mismanagement milestones. As are F2P / enhanced artificial difficulty levels and hidden ‘throttling’ / ridiculous levels of RNG / and micro transactions. The game’s ageing wonky architecture and P2P connections, and spaghetti coding, make the game unplayable for many. Players: it depends on what type of player one is… PvE or PvP or a bit of both. Solo / occasional player or Clan warrior. Hobbyist or Full Time. Casual - for fun, or Hardcore - for $$$. Dedicated W or H or T, or a mix of all three. Retired or under-employed or on welfare. Etc… Or any mix or combination of any of the above. Friends Lists in D1 were thriving. Raids were a weekly event and done with gusto. The game was fun to play…with a regular bunch of buddies. It still had its issues…but the vibe was mostly positive. Then came the Sunset debacle…and D2 Beta - and everything changed. Friends Lists evaporated. Players left in droves…(me, too!)… Micro transactions ramped up…EverWorse store became front and centre…the overall vibe became negative…artificially enhanced RNG became evident…the system became overstressed due to PC/Xbox/PS inclusivity… Lightfail and Neomuna - 🧐 Upper tier MisManagement - ❌❌❌ Activision’s departure 🚨🚨🚨 Sony’s acquisition 🚨😱🚨 TFS 🚨🤔🚨 The future of Destiny??? IMHO: as a solo, casual, old tortoise who loves the game and just pootles about enjoying what’s left of the planets, doing mostly ‘vanilla’ stuff, with my basic vanilla builds, and not too bothered about chasing anything, I’m basically winding down my 10-year compact with Destiny. Witch Queen was very good. The recent uptick in improvements and Brave weapons were good…but, it seems, old bad RNG throttling habits are becoming evident once more…❌🤡❌ I’m in for TFS - to close out the story, however good or bad that might be?! Thereafter, we’ll see… FWIW: I would place D2 on life support mode…announce D3 in development. Install a warp drive game engine, supported by all of the latest technology and updates available. Install Dedicated Regional Servers. Consider a subscription model. Follow a lot of WarFrame’s winning ways, eg, in game player trading, fast pass option, etc… Anyhoo, that’s enough for now! 😁 TLDR: 🤫 Just my 2d worth. YMMV. Ease springs! 🫡

When a developer has for the last 5 to 6 months used bait and 10-year-old requests in hopes of retaining players or getting players back, that's a huge issue that sticks out like a sore thumb. This wait-and-see only works on people who are new to the game or don't know what has been happening since the day Activision left them. The game has been a disaster as well within the company that I'm waiting to see if Sony takes over that actually should have happened the day they bought this developer.

Ignore the negativity seeing its always coming from the same group of miserable people who always want to see the manager. Keep in mind most of them don’t even play or barely play yet they’re here bashing on a daily basis. Look though the players history’s commenting. It’s hysterical and sad that players who haven’t touched the game in years comment like they’re the voice of reason. They’re not haha and are simply miserable people. Can you imagine hanging on the forums of a game you haven’t played in years? That’s 90% of your responses. I can’t wait to use Prismatic and experiment with builds while kicking butt inside the Traveler.

I was like you once.........thinking Bungie had something truly surprising. Only to realize they didn't once we got our hands on it. Just like swathes of the PvP community pattin bungie on the back for mediocre balance patchs and 3 maps in 3 years. Yeah.....it's real hard to hold Bungie to a good standard if them doing the bare minimum warrants high amounts of credit.

We already know 80% percent of what the Final Shape will be like. We know about Prismatic, "new" enemies and locations, Cayde is coming back, and I'm pretty sure all the new Exotics minus the Raid one. Even the things we don't know, we can safely assume based on Bungie's track record of handling things.

3 RepliesCarnt see them balancing out the lament nerf it's only weapon in game that's barrier type made for close up engagement with it being a sword but lacks survivability after the nerf there ain't no fixing that except not nerfing it . I'm not daft enough to believe bungie will ever give us an ability that gives health back on hits unlike some other mmos so latest nerf to a unique weapon type and style of gameplay is dead. HIGH RISK NO REWARD IS THE LAMENT NOW Div never needed nerfing either ,it just needed to be locked off for the raid race Well of radiance also should not get nerfed just locked off for raid race also Don't know if the talk about sunbracers is true but if so why ?it already got nerfed season of the haunted and it's not op in pvp it's just brakes bungies code of fun potentially Grapple nerf because 2% of the top players are able to use it multiple times in encounters but not everyone does this so it's a nerf because of the top 2% of players that live on the game I'm expecting more nerfs but they will save the worst ones that annoy players the most day before final shape release if they are announving nerfing well this early what do you think is next?

They don’t have a good enough track record for a lot of people to give them their trust. That’s why fans are super vocal like it’s gonna make any kind of difference in this echo chamber.
